STUDENT WORK STUDY STAFF
Work study students are a critical part of the sports medicine department at Providence College. Each student is certified in American Red Cross Adult CPR, AED and First Aid. They help with tasks such as crutch fitting, compression wrap application, use of modalities, daily treatments, as well as rehabilitation of athletic injuries. They also help with game set up, practice coverage, and cleaning and maintaining the facilities. The work study program is ideal for undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career/graduate degree in healthcare and want to gain hands on experience in the sport medicine setting.
