Holy Cross Downs Providence with Early Goal

WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Providence College men's soccer team was defeated by Holy Cross , 1-0, Tuesday, October 14 at Worcester, Mass.

Jeff Carroll scored the winning-goal for Holy Cross at the 14:50 mark. Jeff Colon made three stops in the win for Holy Cross. PC's Dan Pires registered seven saves in the loss.

Holy Cross improved its overall record to 6-4-1, while Providence dropped to 3-10-0 overall.

Providence College returns to action on Sunday, October 19 against Seton Hall at 2:00 p.m. at PC's Glay Field at Worcester, Mass.
