Providence Blanked by Cornell

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Five different Cornell players scored to give the Big Red a 5-0 win against Providence College in women's hockey action at the Princeton Invitational on Nov. 29 at Princeton, N.J.

Morag McPherson, Colette Bredin, Kelley Boutin, Patricia Kemp and Alison Stewart each netted one goal for Cornell.

Melissa Junkala made 17 stops for Cornell. Megan Marfione and Pilar Christopherson combine to register 18 stops in the loss for Providence.

Providence will return to action on Sunday, Nov. 30 against Princeton at the Princeton Invitational.
