• The Friars finished the 2007 season with a 19-12 overall record. The 19 victories is the highest win total since 1997 when Providence recorded 21 wins.

• Providence had a two stretches with four or more consecutive victories this season.

• The Friars finished the season with the second best record in the Division I Independent Volleyball league.

• Senior co-captain Sarah Fleming (Saint Paul, Minn.) finished her final season with the fourth highest single-season mark four kills with 418.

• Junior Jeanette Toney (Brooklyn, N.Y.) tallied 127 blocks this season which is good for third on the list of all-time single season for blocks. With the 127 blocks, Toney now has 322 for her career, which places her fifth all-time on the career blocks list.

• Junior setter Sara Sheehan (West Chester, Pa.) had another tremendous season leading the Friar offense. She tallied the fifth highest total of assists for a single season with 1216. She now has 2364 for her career, placing her fifth on the all-time list for career assists. Sheehan also registered 54 aces this season giving her the second spot on the single season service aces list. She now has 126 aces for her career earning the fourth place spot for career service aces just two behind the third spot.

• Junior Elizabeth Flynn (Bellerose, N.Y.) had the most efficient hitting season of all-time in a Friar uniform. Flynn hit a staggering .362 this season, surpassing the previous single-season record of .340. With that mark, Flynn now has a career hitting percentage of .292, placing her second all-time on the career list.
